Our Methods

Field Research

Our initiatives are driven by an iterative research  process.  We identify regenerative practices that have worked elsewhere, field test the methods in the Sankuru to identify methods that are appropriate to the social, economic, and environmental contexts of the Sankuru.

Farmer Engagement

Our project engages farmers by raising awareness of regenerative practices and their potential impact.  We conduct  communal trainings in the local language.  The learning process reinforces principles, transfers competency, and encourages practice.

Community Development

We are dedicated to building communities of farmers and local stakeholders that believe in a more regenerative, equitable and fruitful future for the people of the Sankuru.

Our Approach

The people of the Sankuru have incredible potential and opportunity.  Significant impact can be achieved with proven regenerative management techniques using what is already available.  Our approach operates with what is locally available and begins where people find themselves.

This project in the Sankuru Region of the Democratic Republic of Congo focuses on training subsistence farmers in regenerative methods to increase production and quality for local markets. Our team is passionate about creating a sustainable and thriving agricultural ecosystem in the region.
